Carpenter misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Carpenter has his takedown stuffed letting Jones counter with a right hand. #CUT2# It looks like Bryce Carpenter has been cut. Jones wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones lands with a nice body punch. Carpenter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryce Carpenter. He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Malenczuk looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Calhoun can't hide his disappointment, as Malenczuk celebrates the victory.

Franco is trying to force a seperation but HiVibez has the dominant position. Franco tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The fighters circle momentarily. HiVibez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. No luck for Franco with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harrison Franco. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Franco on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

HiVibez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Franco haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Franco wants to sweep but no luck. That was a close round but I would say that Harrison Franco will probably get the nod. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moretti throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Franco blocking the ground and pound attempt from Moretti. Franco slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.#ES# Franco has his feet on Moretti's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Moretti grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Franco takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Moretti cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Smiley takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Calhoun tries to hold on but Smiley postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smiley scores with a couple of good head shots there.

#R1# Hammer moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.#CUT2# It looks like Bryce Carpenter has been cut. Carpenter shoots for a takedown but Hammer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Carpenter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Carpenter dodges the punch combination from Hammer.
Hammer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Carpenter. That did some damage! Carpenter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hammer as he avoids it easily. Hammer connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Carpenter to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Hammer!
