Limaedo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schwartz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Shaun Schwartz will probably get the nod.

Limaedo throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Schwartz's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Limaedo dives in looking to finish as Schwartz flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Limaedo's strikes! Limaedo is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Schwartz's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Schwartz was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Soprano scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Guerrero slaps away a takedown attempt from Soprano, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Soprano throws a right and a left that both miss.
Danga de danga de dang - Soprano scores with a four punch combination!
Guerrero drops his hands for a split second and Soprano immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Guerrero face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Soprano follows up with a right hand that knocks Guerrero into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Salvatore Soprano!

Vasquez tries to clinch but Halal moves out of range.
Halal misses with a two punch combination.
Vasquez throws a head kick that Halal semi-blocks.
No joy there for Halal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vasquez's jab looks to have found its range, popping Halal under the eye.
Halal throws a right and a left that both miss.#CL#
Vasquez clinches.
Halal lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Vasquez.

Halal lands a big elbow - Vasquez is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Halal!

Let's hope that Halal has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Soprano has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
