#R1# Matos looks for a takedown but Putski sprawls well. Putski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jab by Putski.#KD2# Putski drops Matos with a beautiful combination! Matos stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Putski is looking for the KO!#ROC2# Matos is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Natala Matos has been cut. A slow jab from Putski misses its intended target. Oh Matos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Matos dives in and grabs Putski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Putski pushes down on Matos's head and hops out. This has been an exciting period of action! Matos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Putski misses with a hook. Matos seems to have got his legs back now. Ivan Putski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Matos dives in for a single leg takedown but Putski sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Natala Matos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Putski lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Matos falls backwards - clearly groggy! Putski dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

#R1# Cortez scores with a sloppy right hand. Matos should have avoided that one. Cortez getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Matos throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Matos misses with a looping left. Cortez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cortez lands a glancing blow to the side of Matos's head. Matos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cortez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.#KD2# Cortez lands a big uppercut and Matos crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Matos looks OK. Cortez waves Matos back to his feet!#ROC2# Matos is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Cortez waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Matos. Oh Matos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Matos moves away from the strike by Cortez. Matos with a nice cross. Cortez cracks Matos with a hook to the temple - Matos is on wobbly legs here! Cortez swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Matos falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Cortez wins by TKO!

#R1# The fighters circling - Russo throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Russo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Matos. Matos obviously looking to wear him down.
Russo has a takedown stuffed. Matos wants to clinch up but Russo keeps it at a distance. A little feinted left hand from Russo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Matos tried to score with a low kick but Russo checks it. Russo is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Matos.#TD2# Matos gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Russo wants to get back to his feet.
Matos seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Matos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#T1# Russo tries to get to full guard but Matos has control of the leg. #SUB2# Matos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Matos lands a nice short elbow.#T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Matos is trying to control the action in half guard but Russo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Matos landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Matos prevents Russo from improving his position. Matos is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Still in half guard, Matos seems content to control. Let's hope that Matos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Matos lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. #T3# Matos prevents Russo from standing back up.

Russo wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Matos manages to pass to side control. #REVR# Russo is trying to get back to full guard. Matos working over Russo with some ground and pound. Russo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Matos is pressing down on Russo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Russo is holding on for now. Matos is figuring out what he wants to do next.#T1# The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Matos tries to stand and escape but Russo is controlling the position. Matos has been the more effective fighter overall so far.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Matos perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Matos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that's the end of the fight! Ollo Matos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Matos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Sims preventing the sweep. Matos will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Matos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sims walks away with a smile on his face. Matos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Matos feints a jab and as Sims dips his head, Matos unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Sims right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Sims falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Matos smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

#R1##CL# Blackman gets tackled into the cage by Benitez. Benitez maintains the clinch. #BC# Benitez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Blackman fails to land the takedown. Benitez connects with a body shot. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Blackman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Blackman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#CL# Benitez closes the distance and clinches. Blackman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Benitez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Agustin Benitez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Blackman. Benitez lands with a light punch inside. Benitez is defending well against a takedown attempt. Blackman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Benitez fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Blackman just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Garcia has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Zulhusni Hafiz to stand back up!#ROC# Zulhusni Hafiz is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zulhusni Hafiz with a poor takedown and Garcia counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Zulhusni Hafiz is still on wobbly legs! Can Garcia finish him? Nice body punch from Schmidt. Schmidt throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
#CUT2# It looks like Aiman Luqman has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Luqman throws a body shot but no joy. Schmidt has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Luqman is landing a low percentage of strikes. Crunch! Schmidt slams his shin into Luqman's torso. Luqman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Schmidt throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

As Schmidt tries to get set, Luqman tries to push him back and clinch up but Schmidt manages to avoid the attempt. Luqman misses with a looping right. Schmidt staying out of range there. Schmidt steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Luqman. Schmidt dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Luqman drops his hands momentarily and Schmidt takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Schmidt throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
