Cruz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Reynaldo Lam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cruz throws out a powerful jab.
Lam tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cruz defends well and Lam ends up having to push Cruz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Cruz stuns Lam with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
