#R1# Hunt throws a leg kick #TD2# and Cooper counters with a takedown into side control. #SUB2# Cooper has hold of Hunt's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hunt seems comfortable defending it but Cooper has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hunt is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hunt is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cooper couldn't care less - he's delighted!

#R1# Horrible takedown attempt by Imhoof or perhaps it was just good defense by Booker, which made it look bad. Booker throws a head kick that misses. #CL# Booker tries to keep at a distance but Imhoof has taken the fight into the clinch. Booker tries to break the clinch but Imhoof is controlling the position. #TD2# Booker pulls guard successfully.
Imhoof chips away with some ground and pound. Imhoof not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Imhoof has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Booker is proving hard to escape from. #T1# Imhoof lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Booker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Imhoof is in close to Booker's body, working some short punches and elbows.#SUB2# Booker has his foot on Imhoof's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Imhoof works his way back into a safe position though. Imhoof passes Booker's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Imhoof lands strikes from half guard. Imhoof has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Imhoof is nestled in close to Booker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.#T2# Imhoof landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. #SUB# Imhoof in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Booker tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Imhoof!

#R1##CL# Booker closes the distance and pushes Nelson back into the cage. Booker is trying to drag Nelson to the mat but Nelson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Nelson gets underhooks to prevent Booker's takedown attempt.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Nelson. Booker is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Devin Booker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nelson has a couple of punches blocked by Booker.
A nice left hand lands by Nelson.
#TD2# Nelson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Booker regains guard immediately. Nelson pushing down on Booker's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Booker is trying to stand.

#R1# Sosa ducks under a wild hook from Putra. Sosa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sosa wants it to stay on the feet. Sosa tries to counter by clinching up but Putra breaks away and moves out of range.#TD2# Putra shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sosa is trying to defend but Putra finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.#ES# Sosa makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Some wild striking there from Putra.

#T1##TD2# Putra turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Sosa tries to buck Putra off but Putra is having none of it. Sosa takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Sosa trying to control but Putra flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Putra throwing damaging strikes from the back! Sosa could be in trouble here!

Putra throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Sosa to regain full guard. Sosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Putra on the ground. Sosa wants to sweep here but Putra controlling him for the moment. Putra pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sosa is keeping the position for now. #T2# Putra wants to control from the top but Sosa keeps moving. Sosa controlling Putra's posture. Sosa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Putra passes Sosa's left leg - he's now in half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Putra wants to stand up but Sosa is controlling the position.

Putra tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sosa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Putra tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sosa controls his leg. Putra looks to score some points with some ground and pound.#T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sosa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Putra is working away from the top position though. Putra has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sosa wants to get back to his feet.
#SU2# Putra gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Putra misses with a takedown #CL# and Sosa holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Putra tries to break the clinch but Sosa is controlling the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sosa tries for a takedown but Putra manages to get underhooks.

A close round but Akbar Putra will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2##CL# Sosa closes the distance and pushes Putra back into the cage. Putra jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sosa walks away with a smile on his face. Putra gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #CL2# Putra fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sosa, pushing him back against the cage. Putra stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Putra shoots in looking for a takedown but Sosa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Putra's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Putra shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sosa sprawls well. Sosa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Putra gets slowly back to his feet. Sosa tries for a takedown but Putra sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.#CL# Sosa clinches with his opponent.

Sosa throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sosa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sosa prevents Putra from improving his position. Putra looks like he's trying to stand up.
Putra makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Putra. Sosa connects with a couple of short punches. Sosa makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Alec Sosa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sosa is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. #T4# Putra not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

#R1# Malik fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Hunt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Malik's waist but Malik gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hunt off to one side. #CL# Malik has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hunt is trying to break free. Malik lands with a left to the head. Malik digs a right hand underneath Hunt's ribcage. Hunt let out a lung full of air as it connected. Hunt fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Hunt tries to pull guard but Malik forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Zayn Malik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Hunt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Malik lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hunt backwards. Hunt wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Malik throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Hunt has Malik pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Malik manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. #T1# Malik lands on the inside with an uppercut. Hunt looking to slow down the pace here. Hunt wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Malik has him pressed against the cage.#BC# Malik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hunt looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Malik circles away from the clinch attempt.
Malik looks to land a combination. Hunt sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.#ROC# Hunt is rocked! Hunt wants to clinch up but Malik keeps it at a distance. Hunt is still on wobbly legs! Can Malik finish him?#CL# Malik has taken the fight to the clinch.
Malik lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Malik creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Malik lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Hunt to his knees! Malik keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zayn Malik! Zayn Malik gave a mention to Oblivion Inc. in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
