#R1##TD2# Williams shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Thomas is trying to defend but Williams finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Williams is taking a breather. Thomas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Let's hope that Williams has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Thomas wants to control but Williams is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thomas is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.#T1# Williams sitting and controlling from the half guard. Thomas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Thomas tries to get to full guard but Williams has control of the leg. Thomas is looking to control Williams's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Thomas avoid being mounted? Thomas makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Thomas.
