Hryunov batters Ramazanov with a massive right followed by a huge left! Ramazanov is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Hryunov lands a final crushing right hand to drop Ramazanov to the mat with a gruesome thud! Hryunov is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Pavel Hryunov! Pavel Hryunov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramazanov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ramazanov passes Penn's left leg - he's now in half guard. #SUB2# Ramazanov seems to be working for a kimura but Penn defends the submission attempt.
