The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#TD# James jumps guard and drags Baeck to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Voudka is figuring out what he wants to do next. It looks like Voudka might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Amud shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bender pinned against the cage. Bender gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #CL2# Bender forces Amud back against the cage and clinches.#TD2# Bender drags the fight down to the ground.
Amud makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amud trying to control the position from guard on top but Bender is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Amud has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Amud in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. #T1# Amud trying to control but Bender is working from the bottom. Bender tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bender really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Amud. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB2# Bender throws his legs up looking for a submission but Amud uses it to pass to side control.
Bender can't do much from the bottom here. Amud lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bender down.

#CL2# Lopez clinches up against the cage. Lopez avoids a wild elbow strike from Velasquez. Velasquez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lopez after a bit of a struggle. #BC# Velasquez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lopez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Velasquez defends well and Lopez ends up having to push Velasquez into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Velasquez went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. A slapping leg kick lands for Velasquez.
Lopez tests Velasquez's chin there with a solid looking shot. Some bone on bone action there as Velasquez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. #TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Lopez enables Velasquez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lopez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Velasquez preventing the sweep. Lopez managing to control the position. Velasquez throws a big right hand that misses. #T1# Velasquez throws an elbow that misses. Lopez uses the momentum to reverse the position. No damage this time. #T2# Velasquez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lopez controlling the position. Velasquez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lopez works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lopez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Velasquez throws a big elbow that misses. #SUB# Velasquez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lopez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Velasquez has Lopez in his guard.#REVB# The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#SU2# The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lopez gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #CL2# Lopez clinches. Velasquez tries to score a body lock takedown but Lopez shows good agility there to stay on his feet.#T3# Velasquez tries to pull guard but Lopez won't allow it.
