and Bonner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#CUT2# It looks like Brian Spiagnu has been cut. Bonner listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Spiagnu misses with a hook. A lazy left from Bonner finds it's target. Bonner checks a low kick from Spiagnu. Spiagnu lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bonner looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bonner paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Bonner misses the shot to the body. Spiagnu takes a body punch but keeps moving. Bonner connects with a good right hand that stumbles Spiagnu. Spiagnu circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bonner lands a lovely overhand right.#ROC2# Spiagnu is rocked! Spiagnu throws a poor cross that misses
and Bonner counters with a nice body shot. Spiagnu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bonner's head backwards.#T1# A looping hook to the body misses from Bonner. Spiagnu does a little dance to reset his feet. Bonner takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Oh Spiagnu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bonner throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Spiagnu gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Bonner gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

A relieved looking Steven Bonner thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Tyson Jr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Malenko is in Tyson Jr's guard.#SU# Malenko decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Tyson Jr lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Malenko is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tyson Jr is defending well for now. Morin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Morin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tyson Jr has him pressed against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tyson Jr creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Morin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tyson Jr digs a right hand into Morin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Morin's gas tank. Tyson Jr digs a right hand underneath Morin's ribcage. Morin let out a lung full of air as it connected. Morin is breathing heavily. Morin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tyson Jr pulls his leg out and moves away.

Good standup being displayed there by Powell as he connects with a hook. Powell catches Jhestia with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Powell scores with a nice head shot. Jhestia tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Powell defends well and Jhestia ends up having to push Powell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Jhestia gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Powell gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

and Zappacosta counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Zappacosta lands a nice hook to Spiagnu's body. Spiagnu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. An inside leg kick from Spiagnu misses. Spiagnu throws a good cross that connects.
A jab lands there for Spiagnu. Spiagnu scores with a hook to the body. Zappacosta takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good exchange - Spiagnu coming out on top. Spiagnu throws a hook but Zappacosta blocks it. #TD2# King jumps guard and drags Spiagnu to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. King is trying to control the position but Spiagnu postures up. Spiagnu wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. Spiagnu in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Spiagnu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King controlling Spiagnu's posture. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Spiagnu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Spiagnu makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#T1##SUB2# King is looking for a triangle but Spiagnu pushes his legs off easily.

King wants to get back to his feet but Spiagnu is in a dominant position and won't allow it. #T3# Spiagnu throws a big elbow that misses. Spiagnu wants to pass the guard but King is keeping the position. Spiagnu stopping the sweep attempt from King. Spiagnu trying to control but King is working from the bottom. #SUB2# King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Spiagnu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Spiagnu trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Spiagnu advances position into side control! King prevents Spiagnu from moving into mount. Spiagnu lands a nice forearm strike. King is looking to regain half guard here but Spiagnu keeps moving and retains side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! King wants to control but Spiagnu postures up. Spiagnu is working King over with some ground and pound from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Brian Spiagnu will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! #R3# Spiagnu tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and King is able to avoid easily. King bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. King tries to counter by closing the distance. Spiagnu pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces King back to the cage. Spiagnu follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. King gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Spiagnu counters with a straight right hand. Spiagnu misses with a low kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from King. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A bone on bone clash there as King blocks the leg kick.
King shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Spiagnu but Spiagnu pushes him off and we're back to square one. Brian Spiagnu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tournament King. Spiagnu looks to throw the jab but King is out of range. #T1# King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Spiagnu circles away. King takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. King tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spiagnu swivels and escapes. Spiagnu changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Spiagnu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
