#R1# Kharadze looks to land a combination but Simon avoids it well. #CL2# Kharadze has taken the fight to the clinch.
Simon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.#TD# Simon is trying to trip Kharadze. He has hold of a leg but Kharadze is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Simon persists though and gets the takedown into guard.#ES2# Kharadze manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Simon misses with some punches.
#TD2# Kharadze has picked Simon up - he's going for a ride! Kharadze dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SU2# Kharadze decides to stand and escape the position. Kharadze moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.#CUT2# It looks like Russell Simon has been cut. Simon stuffs the takedown attempt from Kharadze. Kharadze gets slowly back to his feet. #T1# Kharadze fails miserably with a takedown attempt. As Kharadze tries to get set, Simon tries to push him back and clinch up but Kharadze manages to avoid the attempt. Kharadze shoots in for a takedown but Simon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Simon tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kharadze manages to circle out of the way. Russell Simon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Giorgi Kharadze. Kharadze shoots and misses and Simon counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kharadze is lucky that one didn't land flush. Simon slaps away a takedown attempt from Kharadze, before circling back to the center of the mat. Simon throws a quick counter head kick but Kharadze was just out of range.#CL2# Kharadze closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Simon gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. #T2##BC2# Kharadze escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
#TD2# Kharadze throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Simon was covering up waiting for the punch and Kharadze finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kharadze wants to control from the top but Simon keeps moving. Simon is trying to keep Kharadze in close.

Simon is pulling down on Kharadze's head to control his posture. #SU2# Kharadze stands up from Simon's guard - Kharadze perhaps looking for a knockout. Kharadze throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. As Kharadze tries to get set, Simon tries to push him back and clinch up but Kharadze manages to avoid the attempt.#TD2# Kharadze drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kharadze has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Simon!#T4# Simon regains half guard. Simon moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.#SUB# Simon is looking for a triangle but Kharadze pushes his legs off easily.

Giorgi Kharadze dominated that round. The cut man is working on Russell Simon's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2# Kharadze fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Simon manages to avoid it. Simon tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kharadze manages to circle out of the way. It's a sloppy attempt though and White jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #SUB2# White thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #SUB2# White drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lee dives on top into guard.#REVR# Lee forces his way into half guard.#SUB2# White actively working from the bottom here. #R1##TD2# Kharadze looking to score a takedown here. Jacobs is defending well but Kharadze drives through and ends up in Jacobs's guard. Kharadze landing some decent shots from guard. Kharadze's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jacobs pulls Kharadze in close to prevent any damage. Jacobs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kharadze is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. It looks like Kharadze might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kharadze's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Mcfadden was covering up waiting for the punch and McCall finishes the takedown easily into guard. McCall tries to free his leg and advance position but Mcfadden is retaining full guard. McCall trying to control but Mcfadden is working from the bottom. McCall would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Mcfadden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McCall on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcfadden not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
