Nicely done. The referee asks Bolton politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bolton prefers to stall for the moment though. You can see the frustration on Sousa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bolton is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sousa will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Sousa is trying to control Bolton's posture but Bolton avoids it. #SUB# Bolton tries for a kimura but Sousa is defending well. Sousa is trying to control Bolton's posture but Bolton avoids it. Bolton looks to land a strike but Sousa avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Bolton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #SUB2# Sousa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bolton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sousa keeping moving, preventing Bolton from controlling successfully. Bolton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bolton stands up over Sousa, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bolton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bolton wants to control from the top but Sousa keeps moving. #SU# Bolton gets to his feet. Sousa looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Bolton connects with a high kick. Bolton misses with a head kick.
Sousa follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sousa, right into the meat.
Sousa connects with a high kick. Sousa circles away from the clinch attempt and Sousa counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bolton thinking. Bolton is breathing heavily.#T3# A solid leg kick lands there for Sousa.
#TD# Bolton looking to score a takedown here. Sousa is defending well but Bolton drives through and ends up in Sousa's guard.#SUB2# Bolton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
#SUB2# The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sousa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bolton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bolton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #SUB2# Sousa looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
