Ruiz lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Ruiz dodges the punch combination from Magee.
Ruiz is looking to score with low kicks. Magee tries to clinch up. Magee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Magee fails to land with a series of punches.
And Ruiz tries to counter it with a takedown but Magee pushes his down on his head and steps out. Magee keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Ruiz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Magee at a distance.
Magee goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.#CUT# It looks like Emanuel Ruiz has been cut. Ruiz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Magee throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Magee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Magee tries to work over Ruiz's front leg with a kick but Ruiz checks it. #CL2# Ruiz darts in and clinches Magee up against the cage.#T1##BC# Magee breaks from the clinch.

#R1##TD# Pollard dives in and scores a takedown into Korent's guard. Korent is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Korent throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Pollard has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Korent looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pollard is one step ahead there. Korent has Pollard pulled in close to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pollard won't allow Korent to sweep him here. #T1# Pollard is fighting to break Korent's control of his arms but Korent is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Pollard shoots in for a double leg but Korent sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Korent just misses with a punch to the body.
Pollard looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Pollard shoots and misses #CL2# and Korent counters by clinching up. Korent throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Korent gets through Pollard's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.#TD2# Korent gets control of Pollard's arms and successfully pulls guard. Korent will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Pollard prevents Korent from getting back to his feet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Korent holds on and takes a little breather. #T2# Korent is looking to stand up but Pollard isn't so interested in that idea. Korent wants to sweep but no luck. Korent is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Korent is on top in guard.

Wu lands a right hand that snaps the head of Heughan backwards. Wu fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Wu fails to land. Heughan looks to throw an elbow but misses. A short left from Wu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short right from Wu on the inside. Wu misses with a punch on the inside.

Wu lands with a nice body kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Heughan darts in trying to clinch and Wu counters with a series of strikes. #R1##TD2# Ruiz closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McStink's guard. Ruiz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McStink's guard. McStink knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ruiz on the ground. Ruiz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McStink's head. #SUB2# Ruiz is looking for a kimura but McStink is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ruiz to get the leverage. Ruiz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ruiz content to control rather than advance. Ruiz trying to pass the guard but McStink defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ruiz sitting and controlling from the half guard. Ruiz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. #T1# Ruiz sitting and controlling from the half guard. Ruiz works his foot free and advances to mount. McStink throws a leg kick which misses Ruiz's front leg but catches the back leg as Ruiz tries to avoid it. Ruiz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ruiz is breathing heavily. McStink lands a nice looking body shot.
Ruiz is aggressively charging in as McStink backs up avoiding any damage. McStink tosses out a jab and Ruiz runs right into it face first! Ruiz is out cold! McStink dropped down on all fours and is barking in Ruiz's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Korent is thwarting Allison's attempts to control the position. Allison is trying to get back to full guard.#T1# Allison wants to get back to his feet. Korent is controlling the pace.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bach stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Woodard swivels though and keeps the full guard. Woodard managing to control the position. Bach wants to control from the top but Woodard keeps moving.
