Vera throws a hook to the side of Silver's head but Silver sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vera lands with a right hand. An inside leg kick lands from Silver. Silver lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Silver dips to his left and cracks Vera with an uppercut! Silver takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Vera has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gym in the buildup to the fight. Vera avoids the body shot from Silver.
Silver connects with a leg kick. Vera bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Vera connects with a single shot there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silver avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Silver has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Vera tests Silver's chin there with a solid looking shot. Vera tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.#T1# Vera misses with the combination.

Marco Vera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vera fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silver manages to avoid it. Vera lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Silver looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vera has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Vera misses with an uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silver dances in with a quick combination. Vera is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Silver snaps Vera's head back. Vera stumbles backwards against the cage. Silver steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Vera's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Vera just didn't come prepared.

Stukov throws a hook to the side of Babel's head but Babel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Stukov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Babel moves away. Babel with the counter takedown but Stukov avoids it easily. Babel looks for a takedown but Stukov sprawls well. Stukov is looking for a counter combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stukov lands a right hook to the body.

Babel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Stukov defends well and Babel ends up having to push Stukov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Stukov jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Petr Stukov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nino Babel. Stukov works the jab nicely. Babel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Babel on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Well Beneke has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
