Tennev landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. McElroy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McElroy tries to get out of the position. McElroy is trying to stand back up but Tennev is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tennev lands with a punch from half guard. Tennev stops McElroy from getting back to his feet.
Tennev lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. McElroy wants to get back to his feet.
Tennev scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Tennev throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tennev not landing any meaningful shots this time. McElroy trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Tennev has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tennev has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of McElroy's face.

Let's bang! #CL# Rivera clinches up against the cage. Rivera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#BC# Rivera's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rivera showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Owens.
Rivera feinted there with a counter leg kick. Rivera moves out of range of the body kick from Owens.
Rivera quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.#TD2# Owens shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SU2# Owens decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. #T1# Rivera avoids the head kick by Owens.

He has the arm isolated but Rivera is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rivera tries to get back to half guard but can't. You can see the frustration on Rivera's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Owens is looking to take a break and control but Rivera is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #T2# Rivera is looking to reverse the position. Rivera is not content to let Owens control the position. Rivera wants to control but Owens postures up.#SU2# Owens decides to stand back up. Rivera avoids the head kick by Owens.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lenard Rivera. I think Owens has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ashley keeping moving, preventing Edwards from controlling successfully. Ashley wants to stand and escape but Edwards is having none of it. Edwards's corner is telling him to maintain position. Ashley has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Ashley wants to stand but Edwards is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ashley controls Edwards momentarily but Edwards frees himself. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Ijo pushes Quick against the cage but Quick circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ijo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ijo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Ijo avoids a punch combination nicely.
