Horrible takedown attempt by Pilsudski or perhaps it was just good defense by Dukes, which made it look bad. Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Sakuraba shoots in looking for a takedown. McSwizzer tries to sprawl out of it but Sakuraba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McSwizzer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. It looked like McSwizzer was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Sakuraba fails with the takedown. David McSwizzer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Westrock felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! White on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bunks lands a nice short elbow. Bunks lands with a punch from half guard. Bunks landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Bunks is pressing down on White's thigh, looking to free his foot. White is holding on for now. Bunks drops an elbow to the side of White's head. Bunks looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks White with a short hammerfist. McSwizzer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Gordon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Dickus makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. White wants to get back to striking at distance but Dickus won't allow it.

That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Dansville is looking to reverse the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Anderson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. McSwizzer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McSwizzer wanted to stand there but Artois had control of the position.
