Beard is trying to drag Rubble to the mat but Rubble just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Beard. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beard is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.#BC2# Rubble pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Beard leaves Rubble with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rubble lands a front kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rubble is trying hard to land a takedown here. Beard sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rubble tries to bum rush Beard with a series of wild strikes but Beard uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rubble changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Beard tries to avoid it but Rubble manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Beard to the ground. Beard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #T1# Rubble shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beard pinned against the cage. Beard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A punch combination from Beard misses. Rubble tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #TD2# Rubble closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Beard did well to prevent Rubble getting side control. Rubble tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Beard defends well and Rubble ends up having to push Beard into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. It looked like Beard was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Beard swats away the attempt to clinch by Rubble. Rubble has a takedown stuffed.#CL# Beard closes the distance and pushes Rubble back into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beard has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Beard has had enough of the clinch but Rubble keeps him there for the moment. Beard is stalling here. Tanner is looking to stand up but San isn't so interested in that idea. Tanner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. San stays in close to Tanner's body and controls the position. #SUB# Tanner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. San doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. San manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dunlap won't allow Karthik to sweep him here. Karthik is trying to control the position but Dunlap postures up. Dunlap is looking to work some ground and pound but Karthik has wrist control. Karthik is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dunlap wants to control from the top but Karthik keeps moving. Dunlap wants to get up but he can't break Karthik's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
