Maa looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well. Jones was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Maa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maa throws a head kick that misses. Jones shoots in for a double leg but Maa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And Maa tries to counter it with a takedown but Jones pushes his down on his head and steps out. Maa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Furgason has eaten all the pies! Gerkly jabbing away but nothing is landing. Furgason throws a counter combo. Gerkly swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Furgason throws a counter combo. Furgason takes a jab right on the kisser.

#R1# Bunse shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Bunse throws a leg kick and Bunse takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gerkly lands with a cross. Bunse takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Bunse misses with a low kick as Gerkly jumps back. Bunse misses with a leg kick letting Gerkly counter with a right hand. Gerkly looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bunse throws a leg kick that is checked and Bunse takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bunse thows a leg kick but Gerkly checks it and Gerkly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bunse has eaten all the pies! Gerkly feints a jab promting Bunse to slip. Gerkly then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bunse slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. An inside leg kick from Bunse misses. Bunse misses with a low kick.

Reo keeping moving, preventing Knorr from controlling successfully. Knorr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reo swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knorr pushes down on Reo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Reo trying to control here.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bur trying to control but Reo is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bur slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wilboogie Bur showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! #R3# Bur blocks a jab. Reo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Reo's face as Bur controls the position. Bur gets to mount! Reo was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Bur lands a big shot there that rocks Reo but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

This has been an exciting period of action! Fitzpatrick scoring with strikes to the body and head. Oh Benjamin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!#SU2# Fitzpatrick decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
