That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#SUB# Unit has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Winner defend it? Unit steps over the head and cranks it - Winner is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Unit!

#R1##TD2# NarutoM gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rocket working some strikes from top position. Rocket advances to half guard. Rocket slows the pace down in half guard. NarutoM knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rocket on the ground. NarutoM is looking to improve his position.
NarutoM on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Rocket stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows NarutoM to get to his feet. #CL2# Rocket closes the distance and pushes NarutoM back into the cage.#T1##BC2# Rocket breaks the clinch.
#TD2# Rocket fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging NarutoM to the ground. Rocket is now in NarutoM's guard. Rocket slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rocket's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#SUB2# Rocket thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. NarutoM has momentary wrist control but Rocket slips an elbow through the middle. Rocket advances position into side control!#T2# Rocket scores with a couple of short elbows. Rocket lands a few punches from side control. NarutoM tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rocket wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rocket scoring with punches from side control. #SU2# Rocket has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. NarutoM is breathing heavily. Rocket lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. NarutoM is looking to close the distance but Rocket sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! NarutoM crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope NarutoM is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

#R1##CL# Mize moves into range and clinches up with The Boxer.#TD# Mize has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but The Boxer regains guard immediately. #SUB2# The Boxer throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Boxer lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Mize is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Boxer wants to control from the top but Mize keeps moving. The Boxer passes Mize's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #SUB2# The Boxer wants to work for an arm triangle but Mize is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mize wants to control but The Boxer is keeping busy.

#R1##TD2# Mize decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mize looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Mize slows the pace down in half guard. Mize works his way into full mount! Mize throwing strikes here but Patton is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mize lands a big elbow. Mize controlling his opponent. #T1# Let's hope that Mize has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Patton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mize throwing strikes here but Patton is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Mize wants to take his opponent's back but Patton doesn't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mize unloads with some shots from mount but Patton bucks and avoids them well.
#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mize controlling the pace for now. #T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.#SUB2# Mize goes for an armbar but Patton turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Patton. Mize should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Mize is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. #ES2# Mize uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Mize throws a sloppy head kick and Patton moves out of range easily. As Mize tries to get set, Patton tries to push him back and clinch up but Mize manages to avoid the attempt.#TD2# Mize feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mize loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Mize not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Patton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mize works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mize is looking to stand up but Patton isn't so interested in that idea. #SUB2# Mize is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Patton defends well.#T3# Patton trying to control but Mize is working from the bottom. Patton keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mize's head. Patton connects with a couple of short punches. Mize is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Patton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#T4##SUB2# Mize postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Patton is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mize, into his guard. #REVR# Patton postures up and lands a big shot to Mize's brow. Patton won't allow Mize to sweep him here. Mize avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mize preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mize keeping moving, preventing Patton from controlling successfully. Patton preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Mize showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Mize is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.#TD2# Mize manages to pull guard.

Patton throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mize is on top in guard.

No chance. #ES2# Mize has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Patton has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.#BC2# Mize manages to break the clinch.

Mize has been the more effective fighter overall so far.#TD2# Mize has Patton pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mize pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Patton tumbling to the mat - Mize dives into Patton's guard. Patton working a defensive guard here.

Patton keeping moving, preventing Mize from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mize pushes down on Patton's leg and manages to get into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Nathan Mize comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mize has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# The fighters circling - Steve throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Steve connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Mize throws a head kick that misses and Steve counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Mize avoids the body shot from Steve.
Mize fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Steve swings for the body but Mize moves out of range.
Mize with a lazy takedown attempt and Steve counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mize thinking. Steve has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mize. Mize really is a fat lump. Jab by Steve. Steve lands with an overhand left. Nathan Mize seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steve misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mize is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steve. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! No luck for Mize with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Mize. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1# Steve digs a good hook to Mize's body.
Steve bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mize's head backwards. Mize looks up at the clock. Bad move! Steve lands a right hand from hell, dropping Mize. Steve pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

#R1# Shackleford works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Mize tries for a takedown but Shackleford sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Shackleford throws a looping overhand right but Mize ducks down to avoid it. Mize shoots for a takedown but Shackleford saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.#CL2# Shackleford clinches. Shackleford lands with a left to the head. Mize wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Shackleford throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Mize wants to take the fight to the mat but Shackleford manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Mize. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shackleford lands on the inside with an uppercut. Mize can't break the clinch.
Mize jumps guard but Shackleford stands there with Mize around his waist. Mize gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Shackleford just stands there and leans against the cage. Shackleford throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mize takes an elbow to the temple. #CUT2# It looks like Nathan Mize has been cut. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Shackleford just misses with a elbow thrown towards Mize's brow. #T1# Mize dodges an elbow strike from Shackleford.
Shackleford lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mize backwards. Mize's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!#ROC2# Mize is rocked! Nice body punch from Shackleford. Shackleford throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mizes head. Oh Mize is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Shackleford managing to block the knees to the body from Mize.
Shackleford lands a damaging elbow. Shackleford looks to throw an elbow but misses. Mize is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mize is breathing heavily. Shackleford gets through Mize's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Mize is pressed against the cage. Shackleford pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Mize! Two more big strikes from Shackleford and Mize crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
