Let's see what he's got on the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanders preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Miocic is stalling in the full guard. Sanders will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#T1# Miocic makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Miocic controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sanders controls Miocic momentarily but Miocic frees himself. Sanders is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Miocic content to stall in guard here. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miocic pushing down on Sanders's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Miocic winds up and cracks Sanders with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #ROC2# Sanders is rocked!#SU2# Miocic decides to return to a standing position. #TD2# Miocic closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sanders did well to prevent Miocic getting side control. Oh Sanders is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Miocic moves into full mount! Sanders won't be happy about that! Miocic tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Miocic connects with a bit shot that sees Sanders covering up! More strikes from Miocic and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Miocic is our winner by TKO!

#R1##CL# Sanders moves into the clinch. Levin blocks an elbow strike. Sanders tries to pull guard but Levin holds him up against the cage and eventually Sanders drops back down to his feet.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Levin. Sanders is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Levin pulls him back up using the underhooks. #TD2# Levin has hold of one of Sanders's legs. Sanders is fighting the takedown attempt but Levin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Levin throws a strike but Sanders rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Levin is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sanders dives into side control.
Sanders working the ground and pound but Levin is defending the strikes. Levin is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Levin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanders. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Levin wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.#SUB# Sanders tries for a kimura. and Sanders counters with a left to the body. Ray Levin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Levin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sanders is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Levin. Horrible takedown attempt by Sanders or perhaps it was just good defense by Levin, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marion Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanders gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Levin gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Root prevents Grant from breaking the clinch. Root lands a nice elbow. #CUT2# It looks like Buck Grant has been cut. Grant throws a head punch that misses. Grant could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Grant wants to get back to striking at distance but Root won't allow it.
#TD2# Root pulls guard effortlessly. Grant controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Grant preventing the sweep. #SUB2# Root isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Grant stacks Root on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Grant! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Grant tries for a kimura but Root is defending well. #T1# Grant trying to control the action but Root is working from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Root's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Root is trying to improve his position. Root sneaks back into half guard. Grant with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Grant is thwarting Root's attempts to control the position. #R1# Sanders works Ichisake's body with a nice hook. Sanders tries to clinch up. Ichisake keeps the fight on the outside. Ichisake uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sanders.
Ichisake tries a quick counter leg kick but Sanders is wise to it.#TD2# Ichisake feints and as Sanders raises his hands in defense, Ichisake changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ichisake passes Sanders's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #SUB2# Ichisake has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sanders defend it? Ichisake steps over the head and cranks it - Sanders is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ichisake!

Guerrero drops his hands for a split second and Soprano immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Guerrero face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd.
