#R1# Thunder throws a combination that misses and Bonner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A decent looking body kick lands there for Thunder. Thunder shoots in for a takedown but Bonner shows good takedown defense. It looked like Bonner wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.#CL2# Thunder drives through and clinches with Bonner against the cage.
Bonner is trying to stall.
Bonner throws a punch but it's blocked by Thunder. Thunder lands a body shot in the clinch.
#TD2# Thunder pulls guard effortlessly. Thunder throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bonner won't allow Thunder to get back to his feet. Bonner with a flurry of punches that miss. Thunder is controlling Bonner's posture.#SUB2# Bonner avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Thunder tries to stand but Bonner is controlling from the bottom. It looks like he might have it! Bonner tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Thunder cranks the arm and Bonner screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bonner, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

#R1# Grant shoots in but Thunder avoids the takedown attempt easily. Thunder is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Thunder is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Grant was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Grant throws a hook to the side of Thunder's head but Thunder sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Thunder misses with a low kick. Thunder tests Grant's chin there with a solid looking shot. Thunder is looking to clinch. #TD# Grant feints and as Thunder raises his hands in defense, Grant changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grant is working Thunder over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Grant throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Thunder works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Grant trying to control but Thunder is working from the bottom. Grant makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#T1# Thunder looking to control.

Grant might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Grant seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Thunder for as long as he can get away with. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Grant tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Thunder defends well and Grant ends up having to push Thunder into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That was a close round but I would say that Randy Grant will probably get the nod.
