#R1# Jab by Johnson. Johnson connects with a single shot there. York moves forwards but Johnson connects with a nice, crisp jab. York shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed York's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from York. York on the wrong end of a nice hook. York takes a shot to the body in his stride.
#CL# York rushes Johnson and presses him up against the cage. York is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Johnson is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin York. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson is trying to push York away but York has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Johnson is pressed up against the cage. York has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Johnson down to the mat. Johnson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The fighters circle momentarily. Johnson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. This has been an exciting period of action! Johnson lands a jab to the head.
York could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Johnson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.#T1# Johnson misses with the combination.
York drops down looking for a counter takedown but Johnson sprawls and moves away. Johnson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Johnson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by York. John Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Johnson throws a one two combo.
#ROC2# York is rocked! York throws a wild hook but Johnson just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! York gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Johnson raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
