#R1# Rocha fails with a takedown attempt. Judson Rocha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rocha throws a lazy right hand but Orwell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Rocha throws a right hand that Orwell ducks under and follows up with a left that Orwell also avoids with ease. Rocha throws a sloppy head kick and Orwell moves out of range easily. Orwell drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rocha defends it well. Rocha swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
#TD2# and Orwell decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rocha's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orwell throwing strikes from guard but Rocha blocks nicely. Rocha can't keep his opponent in guard - Orwell advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. #SUB2# Orwell is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Rocha still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Rocha has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! #T1# Orwell is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Rocha will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Orwell keeps trying to improve his position. Orwell managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Rocha.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Orwell tries to get to full guard but Rocha has control of the leg. Orwell is concentrating on defense, preventing Rocha from advancing position. Orwell avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rocha. Orwell wants to control but Rocha is keeping busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Orwell can do anything to dispel that myth. Rocha prevents Orwell from improving his position. Rocha really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Orwell is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Rocha jumps into side control! You can see the frustration on Orwell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Orwell tries to control but Rocha manages to take his back. Orwell breaks Rocha's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
#T3# Hammerfist, elbow! yells Orwell's corner. There ya go! There ya go! #SUB# Orwell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rocha has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Orwell has managed to get both his arms back between Rocha's legs - danger averted.#SUB# Rocha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Orwell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Orwell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rocha swivels though and keeps the full guard. Orwell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Rocha working for a triangle but Orwell defends it easily.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Orwell takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Orwell slips a nice elbow through Rocha's hands, connecting with Rocha's forehead.#ROC2# Rocha is rocked! Orwell scores with a big shot! Rocha's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Rocha! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

#R1# Yossi takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Yossi tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance. Yossi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Johnson tries to counter with a clinch but Yossi shakes him off and moves away. Yossi shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.#CL2# Johnson rushes Yossi and presses him up against the cage. A short uppercut from Johnson. Yossi is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Johnson is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elie Yossi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson lands with a short head shot on the inside. Yossi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Yossi is looking to take this one to the mat. Johnson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Johnson lands a nice shot to the body. A short left from Johnson.
