#R1# Ferguson stuffs the takedown attempt from Runnerton. Runnerton gets slowly back to his feet. Craig Runnerton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Runnerton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Runnerton misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Runnerton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Runnerton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ferguson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Runnerton wants to clinch up but Ferguson keeps it at a distance. Ferguson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Runnerton on the side of the head. Ferguson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Ferguson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Runnerton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ferguson as he jumps to the side. Runnerton ducks right into an uppercut from Ferguson. #T1# Ferguson jabs Runnerton right on the nose. Runnerton blinks but takes it well. Runnerton tries to clinch there but Ferguson circles away.
Runnerton goes for a double leg but Ferguson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ferguson continues to drive forward. Ferguson stuffs the takedown. Runnerton doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ferguson counters with a stiff right hand. Runnerton is breathing heavily. Runnerton takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ferguson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Runnerton's head.#ROC2# Runnerton is rocked! Ferguson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Ferguson drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Runnerton right on the button. Runnerton goes down! Ferguson follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Ferguson gets the win via TKO!
