Preston had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. #CUT2# It looks like Booker Preston has been cut. Parker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Preston moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Parker lands a front kick. Parker connects with an inside leg kick. Parker misses with a double jab.
Preston attempts a counter takedown but Parker avoids it well and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker misses with a few strikes there.
Parker throws a leg kick which misses Preston's front leg but catches the back leg as Preston tries to avoid it. #T1# Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Parker!

Oh Preston is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Parker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Parker! This one is all over!

#R1# Butternuts feints and then cracks Joyner's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Joyner down. Both fighters circling a little - Butternuts finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Joyner really is a fat lump. Butternuts lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. #CUT2# It looks like Ryan Joyner has been cut. Butternuts connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Joyner shoots for a double leg takedown but Butternuts sprawls well. He's pushed Joyner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. As Joyner backs off Butternuts throws a huge counter combo but Joyner manages to avoid it all.#CL# Joyner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Butternuts , pushing him back against the cage. Joyner on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Joyner is pressed against the cage. Butternuts pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Joyner! Two more big strikes from Butternuts and Joyner crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Fran Butternuts ! In his post fight interview, Fran Butternuts started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Preston crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Parsons finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

#R1##TD2# Batinic throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Joyner tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Batinic is in Joyner's guard. Batinic landing with the ground and pound. Batinic lands a couple of elbows. Joyner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Batinic seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Joyner really is a fat lump. Joyner wants to get back to his feet but Batinic is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Joyner working a defensive guard here.

Pendejo tries to pass to full mount but Joyner defends it. Pendejo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Joyner looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pendejo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Pendejo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

#R1##KD2# Lee feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Preston sprawling to the canvas! Preston rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lee finish him?!
#ROC2# Preston is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Booker Preston has been cut. Preston drops his hands for a split second and Lee immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Preston face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Lee follows up with a right hand that knocks Preston into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
