Durden feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McLoughlin's calf. McLoughlin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. McLoughlin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. McLoughlin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McLoughlin there as he acknowledges the shot. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McLoughlin's half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. He catches Padrone napping and manages to drive through into side control! Osinen landing strikes. Osinen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Padrone down.
The strikes coming from Osinen are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Osinen creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Padrone sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Osinen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Padrone is trying to get back to half guard. Osinen is staying tight to Padrone's torso, preventing him from escaping. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Padrone prevents Osinen from moving into mount. Oh, Padrone has tightened it up now! Osinen should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

#R1##TD# Kape looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Laranja has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Know Squat. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Laranja is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kape's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kape's back!#SUB2# Laranja is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Kape has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Laranja has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kape taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Laranja doesn't care though - he's delighted!
