Thatcher throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Deleon's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Thatcher dives in looking to finish as Deleon flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Thatcher's strikes! Thatcher is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Deleon's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Deleon was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Mani utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Salazar throws a strike but Mani rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB# Salazar trying to control the position.

Salazar is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.#BC2# Vodka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Salazar really is a fat lump. Vodka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. This has been an exciting period of action! Sloppy strikes from Vodka. Those never looked like landing. Vodka cracks Salazar's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Salazar slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Vodka can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Salazar slowing the pace effectively. Leo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Salazar after a bit of a struggle. Leo is trying to pull guard but Salazar has him pressed against the cage. Leo tries for a takedown but Salazar manages to get underhooks.

Salazar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Deleon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
