#R1# Ball tries to clinch and Troers counters with a lovely shot to the body. Ball misses with a takedown attempt - Troers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Troers is looking for the big counter here. Ball fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ball dives in and grabs Troers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Troers pushes down on Ball's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Ball. That's going to take a lot out of him. Troers moves in looking to clinch but Ball pushes him off. Ball swats away the attempt to clinch by Troers. Ball misses with a takedown attempt - Troers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Troers misses with a looping left. Troers has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. A telegraphed right hand from Troers misses the target. Ball tries to counter with a takedown but Troers is quick to defend against it. Ball moves out of range as Troers strikes. Ball fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Troers avoids it really well and circles away.#T1# Ball throws a combination that misses and Troers counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Troers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ball doesn't succeed with the takedown and Troers counters with a series of strikes. Ball will be more careful next time no doubt. Ball shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Troers pinned against the cage. Troers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A punch combination from Troers misses. Ball fails with a takedown attempt. #T2# Troers tries to close the distance and clinch but Ball swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Troers wants to clinch up but Ball keeps it at a distance. Troers looks to score with a jab to the body but Ball is just out of range. Ball avoids the body shot from Troers.
Ball throws a quick counter kick to the body but Troers avoids it.#TD# Ball gets a double leg takedown into Troers's guard.#ES2# The fighters are working up against the cage. Troers manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ball is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Troers to keep the fight standing. Troers can't break the clinch.
Troers is trying to push Ball away but Ball has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#BC# Ball breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ball fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ball fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Troers avoids it really well and circles away. Maven Troers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T3# Ball avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Troers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Troers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ball throws a shot from downtown. Troers moves away and avoids it. Troers throws a jab but it's blocked by Ball. Troers leaves Ball with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ball uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Troers.
Troers is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ball rather than just go for the knockout. Ball tries to clinch but Troers moves out of range. #T4# Troers throws a right hand that Ball ducks under and follows up with a left that Ball also avoids with ease.#CL# Ball moves into the clinch. Troers swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ball drops down looking for an ankle pick but Troers pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ball shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Troers sprawls well. Troers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ball gets slowly back to his feet. Troers lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. A combination from Troers does no damage. Troers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ball paws at him with a jab and circles away. Troers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ball. A shot to the liver by Troers. Beautiful body shot. A right-left combo lands from Troers. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maven Troers dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Ball misses with a takedown attempt and Troers counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. #ROC2# Ball is rocked! Troers cracks Ball on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Ball falls backwards against the cage. Troers follows up with more strikes that drop Ball to his knees. Troers keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Ball! This one is all over!

#R1# Raymond misses with a head kick.
Raymond takes one on the button. Ball connects with a body shot that sends Raymond's belly button to the back. Raymond could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ball misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
#CL# Raymond forces Ball back against the cage and clinches. Ball is trying to break the clinch but Raymond is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Raymond prevents Ball from breaking the clinch.#TD# Raymond gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ball wants to stand back up but Raymond manages to pass into side control.
#T1# Raymond misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Ball managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Raymond.
Raymond working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Raymond lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ball down.
You can see the frustration on Ball's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.#SUB# Raymond is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ball knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. #T2##SUB# Raymond tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Raymond has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ball bucks up and tries to throw Raymond off but instead Raymond has got his back!#SUB# Raymond looking to break Ball's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ball remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Raymond will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!#T3# Raymond misses with punches from the back. #SUB# Ball defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Raymond has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Raymond misses with an elbow to the head. Ball covering up well and avoiding damage. #SUB# Raymond working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. #T4##SUB# Raymond has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. #SUB# Ball showing good submission defense here.

Howard Raymond dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2# Ball listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Ball misses with a leg kick. As Ball looks to move away, Raymond throws a big counter combo but Ball just gets out of the way. Ball lands a lovely overhand right.#CL# Raymond moves into range and clinches up with Ball. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Raymond has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ball clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Raymond has the hooks in. Ball is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#T1##SUB# Raymond is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

#SUB# Raymond has got one arm under Ball's chin. This could be trouble... Ball trying to control the other hand but Raymond gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Ball has tapped out! The fight is over!
