Roman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Roman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baggins works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Baggins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Roman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roman won't allow Baggins to get back to his feet. Roman throwing strikes but missing. Boyle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Boyle takes a jab right on the kisser.
#CUT2# It looks like Abe Boyle has been cut. Gordon wobbles Boyle with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Gordon dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Boyle to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
