Kone shoots in looking for a takedown. Bennett tries to sprawl out of it but Kone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bennett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. As Kone tries to get set, Bennett tries to push him back and clinch up but Kone manages to avoid the attempt. Bennett avoids the head kick by Kone.

Verheij tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boone swats him away and circles back towards the center. Verheij uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Verheij throws a right and a left that Boone avoids nicely. Verheij throws a head kick that misses and Boone counters with a one-two to the body.
