Ballard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jankhoteli is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#SUB# Ballard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jankhoteli gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jankhoteli stays in close to Ballard's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jankhoteli trying to control but Ballard is working from the bottom. Ballard's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Jankhoteli is holding on here and Ballard must be using up a lot of energy. Jankhoteli has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ballard gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Garcia throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Garcia shoots for a takedown but Giorgadze saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Giorgadze tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garcia paws at him with a jab and circles away.#CL2# Garcia has Giorgadze up against the cage in a clinch.
Giorgadze jumps guard but Garcia turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. #BC2# Garcia escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Garcia tries to clinch up but Giorgadze circles away and keeps his distance. Giorgadze lands a nice shot that snaps Garcia's head back.
