#R1# Keith blocks a head kick by Malki.
#TD2# Malki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Keith controlling the position. Malki won't allow Keith to sweep him here. Malki missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Keith is looking to stand up but Malki isn't so interested in that idea. Malki content to stall in guard here. Malki postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Malki won't allow Keith to get back to his feet. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Keith looking for a sweep. Not yet Keith, not yet. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryant Keith. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Malki gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Keith really is a fat lump. Malki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Keith goes for a double leg but Malki avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Malki continues to drive forward.#TD# Keith decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.#ES2# Malki has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Keith is on him like a limpet, forcing Malki back against the cage. Keith is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#TD2# Malki jumps guard.

Malki lets loose with a powerful body kick. Keith will feel that in the morning. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keith might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Malki dominating with strikes here. Malki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Keith is looking to escape. #T2# Keith is trying to stand but he's just given Malki his back. You can see the frustration on Keith's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Malki has been the more effective fighter overall so far. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
#T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Malki tries to keep control of the position but Keith is staying busy. Malki is not going to allow Keith to sit and survive in this position. #SUB2# Malki has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Keith has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Keith preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Keith wants to control but Malki is keeping busy and won't allow it. Keith is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Malki's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Malki's back! Malki rolls, trying to escape but Keith keeps control of the position.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Keith has the hooks in. Malki is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. I really don't envy Malki right now.

#T4# Malki controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. #SUB2# Malki drops back looking for a leg! Keith is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Keith manages to kick Malki off! Malki jumps back into Keith's guard. #SUB# Keith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Malki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Malki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bryant Keith. Well Malki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
