Aztlan stuns Ryan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Ryan shoots for a double leg takedown but Aztlan sprawls well. He's pushed Ryan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #CL# Ryan clinches up with Aztlan and pushes him back against the cage. Aztlan tries to throw a body punch but Ryan avoids it by throwing Aztlan back against the cage. Aztlan misses with a short punch on the inside. I was talking to Ryan's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.#T3# Aztlan throws a punch but it's blocked by Ryan. Batirovenkekikala has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Rua thumps Batirovenkekikala with a low kick. Batirovenkekikala lands a really nice looking cross but Rua seems unphased.

Rudra Yogpeeth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crusher moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Crusher misses with a head kick.
Yogpeeth misses with a looping right. Yogpeeth looks to score with a jab to the body but Crusher is just out of range. Yogpeeth throws a sloppy head kick enabling Crusher to counter with a crisp jab. A cross from Yogpeeth lands. Yogpeeth moves in looking to clinch but Crusher pushes him off. It appears Crusher was looking to counter with a kick there. Crusher blocks a jab. Augustus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yi sees it coming and avoids it easily. Yi throws a predictable looking body shot
and Augustus counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Augustus connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yi. Yi circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Yi digs a good body shot into Augustus's ribs. Augustus tries a head kick but it misses.

Augustus cracks Yi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Augustus throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Yi walks into a stiff left hand from Augustus. Augustus looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. This has been an exciting period of action! Yi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
