Lothbrok throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Armstrong on the side of the head. Lothbrok with a poor takedown #TD# and Armstrong counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lothbrok! Armstrong controls the position. Lothbrok is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Armstrong working the ground and pound. Lothbrok takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Lothbrok seems a little lost for a moment, as Armstrong dominates the positioning. Lothbrok felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Lothbrok looks winded! Armstrong tries to advance to mount but Lothbrok denies him. The strikes coming from Armstrong are missing the target in this wave of attacks. #T1# Lothbrok is letting Armstrong control him for a moment. #SUB# Armstrong is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lothbrok knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Armstrong tries to move to mount but Lothbrok blocks the move with his legs. #T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Armstrong wants to stand but Lothbrok is controlling his arm. A lull in the action here as Armstrong stalls from top position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.#SUB# Armstrong is trying to get an arm triangle but Lothbrok is defending well. #T3# A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A head kick by Armstrong misses and Lothbrok counters with a series of strikes. Armstrong will be more careful next time no doubt. Armstrong perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Armstrong slips a nice elbow through Lothbrok's hands, connecting with Lothbrok's forehead.#SUB# Armstrong is looking for a kimura but Lothbrok is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Armstrong to get the leverage. That was a close round but I would say that Blake Armstrong will probably get the nod. Lothbrok takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.#T1# Blake Armstrong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Armstrong connects with a nice short shot to Lothbrok's temple. West was covering up waiting for the punch and Holman finishes the takedown easily into guard. #ES2# West has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Holman off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Horrible takedown attempt by West or perhaps it was just good defense by Holman, which made it look bad. Holman shoots in looking for a takedown but West manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Holman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. West shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Holman eats them both and turns towards West to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CUT2# It looks like Numbers Holman has been cut. West tries to close the distance and clinch but Holman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. West throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #TD2# West shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Holman tries to get to full guard but West has control of the leg. #T1# Holman is trying to stand.

And that's the end of the fight! Dixie West comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well West has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Armstrong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Armstrong closes the distance but King moves to the side and King makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.#CL# Armstrong rushes King and presses him up against the ropes. King trying to land knees to the body.
#TD# Armstrong tightens his grip and picks King up, before dumping him to the ground. King manages to land in guard. Armstrong is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from West is defended easily by Holzer. Nice shot by Holzer. West drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.#CUT2# It looks like Dixie West has been cut. Holzer connects with a crisp jab. West tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Holzer swivels and escapes. Holzer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. West looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Holzer connects with a nice looking jab.
Jab from Holzer.#ROC2# West is rocked! West gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Holzer gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! West is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Orpheus Holzer! Orpheus Holzer tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
