#R1# Hernandez misses with a double jab.
A left lands for Hernandez. The fight stays on the outside here - Jr looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hernandez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hernandez tries to bum rush Jr with a series of wild strikes but Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hernandez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Hernandez. Jr tries to counter with a takedown but Hernandez is quick to defend against it. Hernandez keeps the fight on the outside. Hernandez throws a lazy right hand but Jr sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jr is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Hernandez with a body punch. A glancing blow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hernandez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jr on the side of the head. Hernandez scores with a hook to the body. Jr takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Hernandez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jr's hands. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hernandez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jr moves away. Hernandez misses with the combination.
Oliver Hernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T1# Jr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hernandez circles away. Jr is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hernandez. Hernandez throws a shot from downtown. Jr moves away and avoids it. Hernandez throws out a powerful jab. Jr gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Hernandez gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
