#R1# Slice keeps the fight on the outside.#CL# Slice gets tackled into the cage by Goodman. Goodman maintains the clinch. Goodman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Slice gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Goodman tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Slice's elbow. Goodman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Slice just stands there and leans against the cage.#BC2# Slice breaks from the clinch.
#CL# Goodman takes the fight into the clinch. #TD# Goodman pulls guard effortlessly. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Goodman trying to control the position here. Slice would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Goodman has his feet on Slice's thighs here. He's pushed Slice off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Slice screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ratliff tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mason avoids it. Ratliff is looking for a takedown.#BC# Ratliff's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#CL2# Mason closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason taking a breather. Ratliff wants a takedown but no success here.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ulysses Ratliff. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mason tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ratliff just stands there and leans against the cage.#TD# Mason is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ratliff is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mason to the mat. Mason regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Ratliff stops Mason from standing up. Ratliff postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. That was a close round but I would say that Ulysses Ratliff will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2# Ratliff circles away from the clinch attempt and Ratliff makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mason really felt that one! Mason throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ratliff's waist but Ratliff gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mason off to one side. Ratliff attempts a counter takedown but Mason avoids it well and moves away. Mason misses with a takedown #TD# and Ratliff counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ratliff. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason looking for a sweep. Not yet Mason, not yet. Ratliff is in close to Mason's body, working some short punches and elbows. Mason managing to control the position. Ratliff with a couple of shots to the head there. Ratliff working some strikes from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ratliff in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Mason preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ratliff might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SU# Ratliff stands up and waves to Mason to follow him. #TD2# Mason shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ratliff manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.#ES# Ratliff has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Mason. Ratliff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mason tries to avoid it but Ratliff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mason to the ground. Mason escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ratliff is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mason can do to turn this around? Ratliff shoots in for a double leg but Mason sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.#CL2# Mason moves into the clinch. Mason doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ratliff counters with a straight right hand. Mason tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ratliff swivels and escapes.#CL2# Mason gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mason is pressed up against the cage. Ratliff has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mason down to the mat. Mason avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #TD# Ratliff throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mason tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ratliff is in Mason's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ratliff with a nice head shot there. Mason is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Steve Mason has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ulysses Ratliff is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ratliff stands up over Mason, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Ulysses Ratliff showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ratliff, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Mason gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. #CUT# It looks like Sam Williams has been cut.#BC# Mason manages to break the clinch.

Williams throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mason sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sam Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mason throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.#KD# Oooooh!!! Mason has knocked Williams down with a huge combo! Mason steps away and waves a wobbly Williams back to his feet!
