#R1# Eduardo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Roger fails with the takedown and Eduardo counters with a right hand to the body. A head kick by Roger misses and Eduardo counters with a lovely shot to the body. Roger closes the distance and clinches up with Eduardo, looking for a takedown. Roger pushes Eduardo against the cage but Eduardo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Eduardo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rogers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Roger doesn't succeed with the takedown and Eduardo counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Roger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Roger throws a head kick that misses. Roger takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Roger is breathing heavily. Roger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Eduardo is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Roger rather than just go for the knockout. Roger takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Eduardo lunges at Roger with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Roger's hand. #CUT2# It looks like Steven Roger has been cut. Steven Roger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T1# Roger takes one on the button. Eduardo lands a right hook to the body.

A jab lands there for Eduardo. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roger takes a shot right to the bread basket. Roger closes the distance but Eduardo moves to the side and Eduardo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Eduardo darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Eduardo has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Eduardo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.#CUT2# Steven Roger's cut is getting worse. Roger gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Eduardo gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
