Stephenson attempts a counter takedown but Sekishou avoids it well and moves away. Sekishou looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Sekishou wants to clinch but Stephenson slips to the side#TD# and Stephenson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Sekishou wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Stephenson manages to pass to side control. #REVB# Sekishou trying to hold on to Stephenson's head to control him but Stephenson postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stephenson in particular looking to stall. Sekishou is looking to escape.#T1##SUB# Stephenson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sekishou doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stephenson. Stephenson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Stephenson prevents Sekishou from standing back up.

Stephenson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stephenson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Sekishou. Sekishou controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. #SU# Stephenson escapes and gets back to his feet. Sekishou is now in Stephenson's guard.#ES# Stephenson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Sekishou is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Stephenson jumps guard but Sekishou turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Stephenson content to slow the pace in the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stephenson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. #TD2# Sekishou manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stephenson on his heels. He'll look to pass Stephenson's guard now, I'm sure.#SUB# The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
