HFC 31: Ounnagn vs Collins

#R1# Parr tries to close the distance and clinch but Wilson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL2# Wilson clinches up against the cage. Wilson wants to break free but Parr has control.
#BC# Parr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Parr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A head kick misses from Wilson. Parr thows a leg kick but Wilson checks it #TD2# and Wilson counters with a shoot takedown. Parr fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parr wants to get back to his feet but Wilson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wilson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Parr is working an open guard so Wilson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wilson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. #T1##CL# Parr has taken the fight to the clinch.
#TD2# Wilson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Wilson advances nicely into full mount. Parr is breathing heavily.#SUB2# Wilson looking to secure an arm triangle but Parr defends it well. Parr has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Wilson slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
#ES# Parr manages to stand up with Wilson still on his back. Eventually Wilson drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parr moves in looking to clinch but Wilson pushes him off.#T2# Parr swats away the attempt to clinch by Wilson.#CL# Parr has closed the distance and engaged Wilson in a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Wilson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
#TD# Parr turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Wilson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Parr dives in and grabs Wilson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wilson pushes down on Parr's head and hops out.#TD2# Parr tries to sprawl but Wilson drives through with a takedown into half guard. Wilson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wilson controlling the pace for now. #T3# The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wilson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wilson controlling from the full mount. #T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wilson punishing his opponent with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson dominating with strikes here. A nice elbow there by Wilson. Wilson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. #SU2# Wilson stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Wilson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Parr. Wilson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.#TD2# Wilson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Parr to the ground. Wilson is now in Parr's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Wilson dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!#R2##TD2# Wilson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Parr napping and manages to drive through into side control! Parr tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. #ROC2#Parr is rocked! Oh Parr is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wilson breaks from Parr's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wilson content just to control the position here. Wilson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wilson is continuing to stall. Wilson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Wilson controlling the position easily from mount. Wilson unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Parr wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Wilson celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

#R1# Lambert lands with a shot to the body. Parr fails with a takedown attempt. Parr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Parr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Lambert thuds a left hand into Parr's body. Lambert works Parr's body with a nice hook. Parr is breathing heavily. Lambert scores with a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lambert cracks Parr with a good jab. Lambert fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Lambert is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Parr rather than just go for the knockout. Lambert ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.#T1# Lambert lands with a nice body punch. Jack Parr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lambert dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lambert lands a slapping body shot.
Parr closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. #CL2# Parr tries to keep at a distance but Lambert has taken the fight into the clinch. Lambert tries to break free but Parr pushes him back against the cage. Parr tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Parr looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.#BC2# Lambert breaks from the clinch.
Lambert's jab looks to have found its range, popping Parr under the eye.#ROC2#Parr is rocked! Lambert throws an uppercut from hell that sends Parr clean off his feet! He's out cold! Lambert stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Logan Lambert! Logan Lambert really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that The Natural Order logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty. |

#R1# Maia fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Maia with a poor takedown and Hitter makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Maia dives in for a single leg takedown but Hitter sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jimmy Hitter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Maia. Hitter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#TD# Hitter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Maia's guard.#SUB2# Maia is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hitter defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hitter keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Maia's head. Maia looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hitter is one step ahead there. #T1##SUB2# Maia looking for a triangle here. Hitter is fighting it but it looks tight! Maia pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Hitter is tapping out - this one is all over!

#R1# Singh keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Horrible takedown attempt by Maia or perhaps it was just good defense by Singh, which made it look bad. It looked like Singh wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Singh digs a good body shot into Maia's ribs. Singh dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Maia moves forwards but Singh connects with a nice, crisp jab. Singh connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Maia fails with a takedown attempt. Fareed Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Maia. Maia needs to keep his hands up - Singh had a free shot at his head there. Singh scores with a body shot.
Maia looks winded!#KD# Singh drops Maia with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Maia looks back up at him and smiles so Singh waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC#Maia is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maia switches off momentarily and Singh cracks him with a monster right hand! Maia topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Singh dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Singh!

#R1##TD2# Louis looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Louis not doing much here.
Louis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parr is looking to control Louis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Parr avoid being mounted?#SUB2# Louis is trying for a kimura here. Parr looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Louis wins by kimura!
