Ferreira throws a nice looking combination but Hiradama bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hiradama fails with a takedown attempt. Hiradama will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hiradama fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Eusebio Ferreira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Setsuno Hiradama. Ferreira lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ferreira keeps the fight on the outside. Ferreira connects with a body shot that sends Hiradama's belly button to the back. Hiradama is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hiradama shoots in but Ferreira avoids the takedown attempt easily. Carvalho scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Carvalho uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Farray. Carvalho dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Farray works Carvalho's body with a nice hook. The fighters circling - Farray throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Carvalho fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Farray lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Carvalho throws a right hand that Farray ducks under and follows up with a left that Farray also avoids with ease. Farray stuns Carvalho with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Carvalho definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Farray is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Farray works Carvalho's body with a nice hook. Farray listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Benjamim Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Allen leaves Santos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Allen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Allen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Santos shoots in and drives through. Allen sprawls well. A counter left hand to the body from Allen misses its target. Bruce Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benjamim Santos. Santos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Allen manages to avoid it. Santos misses with a few strikes there.
