The Striker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Striker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Striker wants it to stay on the feet. Striker throws a series of strikes that have Fernandez backpedaling.
#CUT2# It looks like Alvaro Fernandez has been cut. Striker throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fernandez goes for a double leg but Striker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Striker continues to drive forward. Striker cracks a nice hook into Fernandez's ribs. Striker fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Striker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fernandez. It's a brutal combination of punches from Striker! Fernandez is backing up but he can't get away as Striker lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Fernandez and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Byers is looking to stand up but De Barros isn't so interested in that idea. Byers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Byers really is a fat lump. De Barros pushes down on Byers's leg and manages to get into half guard. Byers keeping hold of De Barros's head, controlling as best he can. #SUB2# De Barros maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Byers could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but De Barros has cracked it and Byers is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by De Barros!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gill takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Maddock connects with a nice looking jab.
