Mcpherson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Runarsson cracks Mcpherson with a nice body shot. Runarsson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Runarsson lands a left hand.
Runarsson lands a shot to the body. Mcpherson is breathing heavily. Runarsson lands a hook that snaps the head of Mcpherson backwards. A short right from Runarsson. A quick uppercut on the inside from Runarsson. #ROC2# Mcpherson is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Runarsson dips a shoulder and cracks Mcpherson with a mighty uppercut! Mcpherson falls back against the cage and Runarsson unloads with a barrage of strikes! Mcpherson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Runarsson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Day throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mcpherson wants to control but Day is keeping busy and won't allow it. Day not landing any meaningful shots this time. Mcpherson works his way to full guard. Good work. Day keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mcpherson's head. Day scoring with some ground and pound.
