Pinto dives in for a single leg takedown but Kami sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kami is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kami shoots in but no luck this time. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kami. That was a close second round but I would say that Joao Pinto will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Pinto lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kami has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kev Luchiano. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kami gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Luchiano.

#CUT# It looks like Midori Kaze has been cut. Mal tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kaze manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#KD# Mal lands a big head kick that sends Kaze tumbling to the mat! Mal takes a step backwards and waves Kaze back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC# Kaze is rocked! Kaze moves away from the strike by Mal. It seemed like Kaze was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Mal doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kaze avoids a punch combination nicely.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marcelo Clarke will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Marcelo Clarke's cut. That's time! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kaze throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Reyes works some decent striking defense from the bottom. And that's the end of the fight! Midori Kaze comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kaze has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
