He has hold of a leg but Cruz is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rogers persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Rogers has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Cruz is pulling down on Rogers's head to control his posture. Rogers trying to stand up but can't free himself from Cruz's guard. Cruz controls Rogers momentarily but Rogers frees himself. Rogers controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rogers forces his way into half guard. Cruz is looking to improve his position.
