A punch combination from Grimes misses. Kjoll tries to clinch up and Grimes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #TD2# Kjoll drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Grimes tries to improve position but can't. Grimes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Grimes can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kjoll slows the pace down. Grimes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kjoll wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Grimes tries to escape but Kjoll is in control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Kjoll controls the position from side control. #R1# Knutsen lands a head kick. Daniels smiles back at him and beckons him forward. #CUT2# It looks like Adrian Daniels has been cut. Daniels displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Knutsen. Daniels shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knutsen but Knutsen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Knutsen tries to counter by closing the distance. Knutsen with a poor takedown and Daniels counters with a head kick. #TD# Daniels manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Knutsen on his heels. He'll look to pass Knutsen's guard now, I'm sure.#ES2# Knutsen manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Knutsen fails with an attempt to clinch.

Paulsen prevents De La Romana from improving his position. De La Romana is not content to let Paulsen control the position. De La Romana works his way to full guard. Good work. De La Romana is pulling down on Paulsen's head to control his posture. Paulsen prevents De La Romana from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paulsen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. De La Romana swivels though and keeps the full guard. De La Romana wants to sweep here but Paulsen controlling him for the moment. #SUB# De La Romana looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission.
