Desimpedidos goes for a double leg but Norton avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Norton continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chico Desimpedidos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Desimpedidos is breathing heavily.
Norton throws a right hand that Desimpedidos ducks under and follows up with a left that Desimpedidos also avoids with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Desimpedidos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Norton lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Desimpedidos falls backwards - clearly groggy! Norton dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Agapov fails with the takedown.
Agapov looks to land a combination but Desimpedidos avoids it well.
Desimpedidos connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Agapov wants to clinch but Desimpedidos slips to the side
and Desimpedidos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Agapov shoots in looking for a takedown but Desimpedidos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Agapov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#TD#
Desimpedidos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Agapov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Desimpedidos controls the pace.

Desimpedidos slows the pace down in half guard.
Desimpedidos uses his free foot to push down on Agapov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Agapov. #T1##SUB#

Desimpedidos misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Agapov is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Desimpedidos has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Agapov! Can he survive? No! He's out! Desimpedidos gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Costa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Payne to the mat! Payne manages to get full guard. #ES#
Payne pushes Costa off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. #CL2#
Payne tries to keep at a distance but Costa has taken the fight into the clinch.
Costa is looking to control Payne's arms but Payne gets an underhook and turns him. Now Costa has his back to the cage. #TD#
Payne tightens his grip and picks Costa up, before dumping him to the ground. Costa manages to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Payne throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Costa works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Costa preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Payne is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Payne accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Costa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Martinez goes for a double leg but Medrano avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Medrano continues to drive forward.
Medrano pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Medrano doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Martinez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Martinez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Martinez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Medrano sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Martinez somewhat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
