#R1##TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Chaney. Zuki struggling a bit here. Zuki tries to bench press Chaney off him but Chaney keeps the position. Zuki manages to work his way to half guard, despite Chaney's best efforts. Chaney knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zuki on the ground. Zuki has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chaney is working away from the top position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chaney is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zuki is trying to stand back up but Chaney is controlling him

#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chaney working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Chaney throws an elbow that misses. Zuki uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chaney's guard. Nice move by Zuki!#REVB# Zuki slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Chaney. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Zuki lands a nice short elbow. Zuki trying to control the action but Chaney is working from the bottom. Zuki throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Chaney because Zuki loaded up on that one. Chaney wants to get back to his feet.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chaney trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Zuki trying to control but Chaney is having none of it. Zuki has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Chaney's face.

Zuki tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Chaney throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

#SUB2# Zuki is looking to cinch up a triangle. Chaney throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Zuki's body to avoid the submission. Zuki has instead reached around Chaney's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Zuki arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

#R1##TD2# Zuki shoots in and gets a takedown into Cardenas's guard. Cardenas will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Zuki in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. #SUB# Cardenas looking for a guillotine here but Zuki defends easily.

Cardenas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Zuki engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cardenas is trying to keep Zuki in close.
Zuki controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#T1# A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cardenas holds on and takes a little breather. Zuki is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Cardenas really is a fat lump. Cardenas wants to sweep here but Zuki controlling him for the moment. Cardenas has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Zuki has passed into side control.

#R1# Zuki shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Date defends it nicely. Zuki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Date looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Zuki tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Date defends well and Zuki ends up having to push Date into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#CL2# Date fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zuki, pushing him back against the cage. Date lands a damaging elbow. Date lands an elbow inside. A short left from Date. Date stalling against the cage.
Date lands a hook to the side of the head. Date lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Date effectively controlling the action here. Date lands a knee to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Date lands a knee to the head.
Date dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.#T1# Zuki misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Date.
Zuki has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Date avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takizama Zuki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zuki takes an elbow to the temple. Date gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Date gets underhooks to prevent Zuki's takedown attempt.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Zuki. Date effectively controlling the action here. Zuki jumps guard but Date turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Date lands a nice elbow. Date content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Nice elbow from Date. Zuki jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Date walks away with a smile on his face. Date lands a good knee to the midsection. Zuki won't want to take too many of those. Zuki is breathing heavily. Zuki takes a shot to the head. #ROC2# Zuki is rocked! Date has Zuki pressed against the cage. He pushes Zuki back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Date throws a beautiful elbow that sends Zuki crashing to the floor! Date piles on the pressure with more strikes! Zuki is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

#CL2# Perez pushes Wolf up against the cage in a clinch. Wolf pushes off an throws an elbow but Perez leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Wolf tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
#TD2# Perez has picked Wolf up - he's going for a ride! Perez dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.#ES# Wolf has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Perez is on him like a limpet, forcing Wolf back against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wolf tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
#TD2# Perez has Wolf pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Perez pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Wolf tumbling to the mat - Perez dives into Wolf's guard.#ES# Wolf has his feet on Perez's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. #CL2# Perez moves into the clinch.#T1# Wolf tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Perez just stands there and leans against the cage.#TD2# Wolf is fighting off a takedown attempt but Perez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wolf to the mat. Wolf regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Wolf is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Perez dives into side control.

Perez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wolf keeping moving, preventing Perez from controlling successfully. #SUB# Wolf looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That was a close round but I would say that Benito Wolf will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2# Perez swats away the attempt to clinch by Wolf. Perez pulls out of a head kick attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perez controlling the action here. Perez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots.
