Blake could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#TD2# Sufr shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Blake is trying to defend but Sufr finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Sufr works his foot free and advances to mount. Sufr unloading with bombs! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sufr looking to control and managing it successfully. Sufr throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Sufr takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#T1# Sufr with shots to the head and body - Blake looks very uncomfortable down there. #SU2# Sufr is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! #TD2# Sufr closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Blake to the mat! Blake manages to get full guard. #ES# Blake kicks Sufr off and gets to his feet. #TD2# Sufr fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Blake sprawls well initially but Sufr persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Blake tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Sufr manages to move to mount!
Sufr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sufr landing strikes from the mount. Sufr controlling from mount. #SUB2# Sufr goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Blake turns into him and now he's in Sufr's guard.

Reynolds tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Holden defends well and Reynolds ends up having to push Holden into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Reynolds throws a predictable looking body shot
#TD# and Holden counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Reynolds flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holden with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Reynolds looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reynolds trying to control from the bottom.

McMallum seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Holden does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. McMallum throwing shots but Holden is blocking nicely. Holden really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McMallum wants to control but Holden is keeping him busy. McMallum working Holden over with strikes. Holden desperately trying to maintain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# McMallum is trying to control the action in half guard but Holden is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. McMallum not landing any meaningful shots this time. McMallum wants to control but Holden is keeping him busy. Holden keeps control of the position for the meantime. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McMallum misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

He's now off balance and Holden manages to pass to side control. Holden is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down McMallum 's shoulder. That is not cool. #SUB# Holden is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McMallum is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. McMallum tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Holden wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Silas Holden will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# McMallum misses with a leg kick #TD# so Holden counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.#TD2# Abedayo has Blake pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Abedayo pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Blake tumbling to the mat - Abedayo dives into Blake's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Roland is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

#R1# Thompson slaps away a takedown attempt from Sampson, before circling back to the center of the mat. As Sampson backs off Thompson throws a huge counter combo but Sampson manages to avoid it all. Thompson throws a series of punches but Sampson avoids them all with ease. Sampson throws a quick counter head kick but Thompson was just out of range. Thompson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Thompson feints a jab promting Sampson to slip. Thompson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sampson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Left hook, right uppercut from Thompson. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thompson misses with a combination

Holden can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Woody controls the pace. Woody connects with a couple of short punches.
