The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Phillips thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Phillips tries to land a sweep but no joy. Phillips keeping moving, preventing Boe from controlling successfully. Boe sitting in guard, not really doing much. Phillips wants to get back to his feet but Boe is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Phillips thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#ES# Phillips pushes Boe off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. You can see the frustration on Phillips's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Copeland misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Copeland fails in his attempt to clinch. James now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Copeland shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has James pinned against the cage. James gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Copeland. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.#T1# Copeland lands with a slapping head kick. Copeland tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. James manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Copeland darts in looking for a takedown but James gets double underhooks and turns Copeland into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damon Copeland. That's going to take a lot out of him. Copeland works over James's head and body with a nice combination. Copeland dives in and grabs James's left leg, looking for a takedown. Harrow lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Harrow throws a punch but it's blocked by Schultz. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Harrow. Schultz stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Harrow misses with a punch to the body.

That was a close round but I would say that Hilton Schultz will probably get the nod. The referee calls time.
