Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Salazar swivels though and keeps the full guard. Man's corner is telling him to maintain position. Salazar trying to control the position.
Man controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#SU# Salazar is working an open guard so Man takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL# Man clinches up against the cage.#TD# Man pulls guard effortlessly. #T1##SUB# Man looking for a guillotine here but Salazar defends easily.
Man seems keen to control Salazar's posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Man is on top in guard.
#REVR# Man is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Salazar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Salazar wants to sweep here but Man controlling him for the moment. #T2# Salazar keeping full guard, as Man tries to pass. Salazar wants to stand but Man is controlling the position. Man missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Salazar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salazar wants it to stay on the feet. Salazar let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. #R1# McTetis shoots for a takedown but Avila saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. McTetis lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Avila shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McTetis as he jumps to the side. McTetis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Avila is fending him off so far but McTetis persists. Nope, Avila circles away and we're back to standing. Avila shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McTetis but McTetis pushes him off and we're back to square one.#CL2# McTetis rushes Avila and presses him up against the cage. Avila really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Avila tries a body shot but McTetis blocks it.

McTetis flicks out a counter leg kick but Avila steps away. McTetis throws a sloppy head kick #CL# and Avila holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McTetis dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Merlin Avila has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pechitos McTetis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Avila drops down looking for an ankle pick but McTetis pulls his leg out and moves away.
And that's the end of the fight! Pechitos McTetis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well McTetis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
