Manger won't allow Halme to get back to his feet. Halme really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Yarmalenko's coach down at Casa Steel was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yarmalenko's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Yarmalenko lands a right hand that snaps the head of Manger backwards. A short right from Yarmalenko on the inside. Yarmalenko presses Manger against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Mesquita was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Mesquita shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Deffra as he avoids it easily. Deffra shoots and misses #TD# and Mesquita counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Mesquita definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mesquita is in close to Deffra's body, working some short punches and elbows. Deffra working a defensive guard but Mesquita manages to pass into side control anyway.
Deffra really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mesquita. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ali Aki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coach has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Coach lands an uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A right handed body shot lands from Coach.

A lazy body kick from Deffra and Rouhini counters with a stiff right hand. Deffra tries for a takedown but Rouhini sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.#TD# Rouhini closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Deffra did well to prevent Rouhini getting side control. Rouhini looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Deffra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #ROC#Deffra is rocked! Rouhini scores with a big shot! Deffra's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Deffra! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

No, Bonkers has managed to get both his arms back between Merton's legs - danger averted. Bonkers seems content to control from guard here. A little jabbing left from Frank on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A low kick from Buoi is predictable there and Frank counters with a right hand to the body. Buoi misses with a low kick as Frank jumps back. Buoi throws a low kick but it's checked well by Frank. Frank blocks a leg kick. Frank works Buoi's body with a nice hook. A jab lands there for Frank.#CUT2#It looks like Lanku Buoi has been cut. Frank's corner calls for a 1-2. Frank obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Buoi scores with a leg kick.

Bonkers is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bonkers shoots in for a takedown but Halli shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bonkers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bonkers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. #R1# A chopping leg kick lands by Buoi. Tayyip throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Buoi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Buoi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tayyip.#TD2# Tayyip gets a double leg takedown into Buoi's guard. Tayyip controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Buoi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tayyip with a flurry of punches that miss. Tayyip is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tayyip with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Tayyip stays in close to Buoi's body and controls the position. #T1# Buoi has momentary wrist control but Tayyip slips an elbow through the middle.
